Newbie
Hi guys,
I'm really new to this save data modification and I was wondering whether there are any downsides to it? If I modify a save file and then re-load it onto my PS3 is there a chance that I could have my account blocked or anything like that?
Thanks

Re: Newbie
Hi there newbie. I have been editing my save for over a year. I have edited almost 20 games. There is people out here that have been doing it longer and on more games then me.
There is something that will ease your mind. You are not editing the game itself so your not breaking any kind Terms of Service agreement. Your not editing your PS3 in any way so your not breaking the Sony user agreement. You are editing the save. Its personal data that is stored on your PS3 and its all your property.
You need to make sure that you make a good backup of your save before you edit it. I personally made a folder on my desktop called PS3 saves and before I do any kind of editing to the ones I have on my flash drive, I put a copy into that folder first in case something goes wrong and I make sure my BSD never touches that folder.

Re: Newbie
Thanks very much for the great response. That's definitely given me ease of mind to start editing my own saves.
