I need some basic pointers please. Yt is crap lol

New to the Whole modding bit. I have resigned and such but never modded my own right. I have a few games I would love to try to do it on, but I cannot seem to make the cheats screen (after hitting apply Cheats) I have decrypted it, saved it to my param bit, but that is all I can seem to do. I do not know how to port cheats over, or what have you. I find ppl on yt with like 09570943709487 cheats in the window and they make it look easy, BUT they skip the step where you put them there. So I may have missed something but if you could please set me up on the right path or maybe a read me for step by step?  I am worried I will warp the save or something lol:affraid:

BSD uses a simple format for cheats. An example

Resident Evil 6:

; [Game Name]
; [Game ID or Serial]

:[What BSD is applying the cheats to in the save file] (some games have DATA, others PAYLOAD, you have to open a save up in BSD to see what all files are in there to generally figure out what to put in that section so it will apply the cheats.)

[Cheat Name]
(code goes here)

[Cheat Name]
(cheat goes here)

etc
and that's it.

Ha, could you believe I forgot about that, I don't use it so it slipped my mind. Yes, you can read the great Guide chaoszage wrote in regards to how to use BSD. Thanks for the reminder Nacho.

Ok so you select either data or payload, and then apply the cheats?

Like Ni No Kuni. I am trying to recoup and get back where I was, Almost finished it and I got hit with a brush fire. Lost everything. So getting back on the ball with games has been slow, to say the least.
Is there someone who can mod these saves for me right quick? and then send them back? Or am I just shifted trying to figure it out on my own?

nino kuni game? this game should be able to get modded directly and use it on ps3,may I know whats your problem of this game?

It will not load the codes it seems. I can mod it on bf no problem. But it doesn't load . It is just stands on a black run
