Are you looking to jack up your PS3 games' replay value without jailbreaking your PS3 and risking a

There is a hot app out right now that is giving Game Genie a run for it's money and the best part about it is:

I'm talking about Bruteforce Save Data, the only save editor that you can not only use for Official Firmware for those that like to keep it clean and not risk a ban-hammer(if you know what I mean   ), but if your really daring, CFW 4.21+.

This homebrew app is the brainchild and creation of flatz and our very own aldostools(SHOUT-OUT notice!)

If you got saves you've transferred from your ps3 to your PC ,save for those that are copy-protected, use BSD to browse the folder where your saves are housed, pick a save, decrypt the save using the decrypt pfd tab, add as many cheats as you want,
re-encrypt the save using the encrypt pfd tab and you're good to go.(Note that some saves may need go to through separate save editors designed for certain games.)

You may think this is the end of the matter, but that's just the beginning because BSD also functions as a very reliable save resigner.

Due to recent firmware updates, if you try to transfer a ps3 save that you got off GameFAQs or this very forum to your ps3 and if the profile signature of that save doesn't match your profile signature, not only will your ps3 recognize that the save is not yours but it will warn you that transferring that save will disable the trophies associated with that save.

All you have to do is run BSD, pick the save you want to reassign to your profile(provided that you've already set said profile after you've installed BSD), decrypt save, hit the update account id tab to reassign said save to your profile, encrypt and verify and you're good to go.

But there is an even easier method due to more recent versions of BSD! Do the same as above, except when you pick the save that you want to reassign, the "Rebuild" tab will pop up in the right-hand corner of BSD. Click on said tab, and it will do everything in the aforementioned.

But Wait There's More!!! BSD also uses Game Genie codes!!! Very Useful if A.) you're a registered user of their forum or B.) you have G.G. yourself.   


And if you're a CFW user, you can use BSD to resign trophy saves and do a whole lot of things you can't do on OFW.

Did I forget to mention that as of BSD 4.6.2 you can now use BSD Patch Creator 1.9 to make your own cheat patches if you have the know how.

I feel ya' Zero. After what happened 2 years ago, unless you have some sort of CFW device that allows you to bypass the PSN servers, you're pretty much S.O.L.

CFW user here to lol and ofcourse I go online on CFW ><

sooner or later when using CFW the Moderator from Sony will permanently ban you without question!!!

I know a lot and can't say something's in the open also I don't want to worry anyone.

you still can get banned if someone reports you and keep logging in in a CFW PS3.

Enough talkin' about CFW. All I have to say is this:

This only my very 1st post on this Forum, and already in just 3 short days it's becoming one of the fastest viewed and most talked about topics on this Forum considering the fact that I've only been a registered user since February 13th of this year(5 months).

Talking about CFW is now closed.

I agree with neko, let's get back to the topic at hand.

By the time it's all said and done, BSD is going to make H.G.G(Hyperkin Game Genie)
look like GameShark 2 for the PS2(and we ALL know how that went ).

I'm telling ya' BSD is to the PS3 what Codebreaker was to the PS2!!! 

I just hope BSD can decrypt all games so I won't bother people again to mod my games I like to do it myself

I wish too but to decrypt certain games like encrypted/compressed/unknown checksum,you need some pro knowledge how to reverse engineering.
