Worst Day Ever

I just got my account permanent banned from psn for downloading a free game name "Pix the Cat" from PSN Store. I chat with the customer service and they say it out of their hand. 2 years of PSPlus and all my digital game is lost.

Now I got to start a new account. I'm never buying anything from psn again.

O_o you got banned?! is that game for ps3 or ps4, also that means you can't get back your trophies as well since you are in your new account?

do they give any reason why you get banned? download free game and get banned..crazy..

may be other reason they seen on the profile or something? like some CFW stuff on it?

we are two here I get ban to when I was on netflix on my ps4

they may have picked up traces of some CFW related business. i would call customer service over and over till i get some answers, cause if that was me, i would be absolutely spewing fire.

sorry for your loss though. 2 years of psplus is painful, not even including all your work on trophies. i got banned from the shitbox before and sworn never to go back there. if i get banned from playstation, my only other option is nintendo. not sure how i feel about that...

I lost my 3 years of plus and a lot of games for vita

I remember my main account, had it for 3 years, god only knows how much I spent on that account. Fumed because I played a game before release. Legitimate CD.

I update to 2.00 for PS4. Then check out a PSPlus section. I click on "Pix the Cat" which is free. It still probably free right now on PSN Store. Then when i log on the next night it said temporary suspended or banned. I chatted with the Sony Playstation customer service and they said I used an exploit/glitch to download a game from PS4 PSN store for free on October 30th. I try talking to them and the person said banned cannot be reverse for any reason. It is not involved with CFW because it was a account banned only not a console banned.

I still have all my physical games. Guess I'll be on NGU a lot more trying to get my trophies build up back.

i god ban two one year ago i just put the plus on me ps3
and they ban i fink they control your cont not for firmware but for your thophys count and your games you buy and match . if you have 500 game trophy and don´t buy eny our meny just ban . now i only play original games .

yea but kinda depressing you are level 38 already, that's pretty stupid from Sony the game is free yet they ban you for downloading it tsk tsk.

I never bought psplus or any games from psn,I only play original games,I think that is the safest way

well not really if a game is less than 2 gig its better to get the digital version rather buying the whole disc game. like dragon's crown and many others and there are perks in psn store like the sale they often do which I took advantage if I got the cash still in my E-wallet. but loosing them is another thing. minjajef may have a point if the trophy you earned does not tally with the games you have is a sure red flag that Sony will look closely at your profile.

You too? I remember messaging you on the 29th or 30th about you playing that PS4 Singstar game. Maybe there a problem with the 2.0 update. I was trying to use netflix too that night. I'm not sure if I will be getting PSPlus again.

My plus was for free games when I play legit and for play on the ps4 enyway I have 2 more account plus ><

Well . We have alot of flawss in ps3 since the day it came out until this day . The last stupid flaw is the ps store problem where you cant sign in because it freezes or kick you out of the store. Yeah they fixed it now but when it was on it was really annoying and stupid. Im a big fan of playstation but for me ps3 was the worst console i have ever had . Not because of the games, no , because of the huge flawss errors and lags that I've encountered through these past years . It was so annoying and there were alooot.

Its not flaws being discussed here its one of the members being banned for several reason. For me this is so called flaws comes with the turf of being a online machine not long ago all consoles where offline only just a few years a internet connection is required. I like how the online trend is going be able to meet people from different countries and playing online. Its how you use it right it matters If you abuse it there are consequences you must faced. No consoles are perfect even the New Next Gen is having issues from time to time. It can't be helped!

Please guys! I've done so much stupid bullshit during my 6 1/2 years on PSN and wasn't even banned temporarily. Everybody who claims to have been banned for no reason is a liar. Sony bans instantly only for the following reasons:

• CFW
  
• using exploits of the PS store and/or the firmware
  
• account stealing
  
• any form of digital theft or similar fraudulent behavior
  

You can also been banned when your "file" has reached a certain size. And even this is pretty hard to accomplish. Sony will send you a warning to your email first before doing anything else. If you got banned without warning you must've been in deep shit before. There is no exception.

I know what I'm talkin' about...

what kind of exploit is that I had my psn for 4 years never been banned although I was CFW back on my old PS3.

I never get a warning and they don't give me any raason

Only because I have a friend who work on sony support he say me
And that aren't the only reason for a ban :/

i got banned earlier this year i was on my main and i forgot to update my cfw offline any way no biggie for me because i usually dont play multiplayer games online anyway
